My Story
I have a long family history of being in the real estate and home building industry. My Grandfather was a real estate developer in San Diego and my father was a successful salesman that taught me the importance of outstanding “personalized” customer service.
At age 20, I decided I want to be a real estate salesperson. I obtained my real estate license in 1978 and began selling properties throughout Santa Cruz County. At age 21, I obtained my Bachelor’s Degreee in Business with a minor in Real Estate from San Jose State.
In 1979, I married home builder, Steve Hansmann, and we built our first home together. Our businesses are very complimentary of each other.
My husband Steve is a second-generation builder and now my two sons Dave and John are the 3rd generation of Hansmann home builders in Santa Cruz. Jacqueline assists them in the office. You can view homes the Hansmanns have built at hansmannconstruction.com.
I have experience in selling land, residential homes, and commercial investment properties. My husband and I have always loved living on the Westside of Santa Cruz. He and my son are surfers. I enjoy walking on West Cliff with friends and being a part of this beautiful community.
